I often work with clients who have issues around food. When I point out that they don’t have a weight issue but a ‘self-care’ issue, something else becomes possible.
When did you last do something that deeply nourished you?
In our busy world it’s easy to put ourselves last and then feel resentful and unfulfilled, but that’s not being responsible.
Take a look at the different areas of your life..
health
relationships
career
finances
home
family
spirituality
Ask yourself, “where am I not taking care of myself?”
Forget waiting for someone else to look after you and start nourishing yourself…now!
why?
“because you’re worth it!!”
Do let me know the ways you are being kind to yourself and the difference that makes. Look forward to hearing from you.

I have my own Award winning, online, Vegan health and wellness business which I work part time around my acting/therapy work and life. In a nutshell, I get paid to shower and show others how to do the same! My business offers a solution for anyone who needs more money, or more time to do the things that they feel passionate about and to be with the people they love.
I spent over 10 years as a professional actress, and worked in TV, Radio and Theatre (including the National Theatre).
I became a Voice-Over Artist in 1994. In 2009 BBC screened a 16 part animated series I voiced, called Funky Fables
I love having variety in my life, It's important for me to satisfy different aspects of myself and by doing this I feel it adds to everything I do.
I feel very privileged to work as a therapist. It's enormously rewarding for me to make a difference to people, so that they can 'move on' and enjoy life.
Julie, this is a really important issue, especially for parents. I often share with parents that in order to be all they want to be for their children they must be a bit “selfish”. They need to take care of themselves both emotionally and physically…even if it is only staying in bed for an extra few minutes in the morning and reading a few pages of a good book or making that quick five minute shower a 15 min bubble bath! They need to re-fuel their spirit!
Blessings
