Deepak Chopra has written a book called Creating Affluence – The A to Z Guide to a Richer Life, and in the front of the book is written

‘Affluence, unboundedness, and abundance are our natural state.  We just need to restore the memory of what we already know.’

What are your thoughts about that?

I know from past experience that when I have been anxious about not having enough money or work, more bills seemed to come in and work got  ‘thin on the ground’.  I also know that when I have chosen  to relax and  trust that work and money comes to me in abundance, that is what happens!

So is it just a ‘mind shift’?  I believe that focusing on what you want (instead of what you don’t want) brings you what you want, but that is not the full picture.  It also requires some actions.  It’s no good sitting back waiting for something to happen, or expecting everything you want to just land in your lap, it requires positive actions towards your goals too.

If you want to have an abundance of money, ask yourself

What difference will having an abundance of money make to me? to other people? to the world?  What can I do with this money? Who can I help?

Be specific.  How much money  are you talking about?  Then see the evidence of that money in your mind’s eye as if you already have it. Maybe it’s a cheque written out to yourself with the amount you want on it. Just find something that works for you.

Visualise the evidence often, along with all the wonderful things you are going to do with the money.  Imagine different scenarios involving your new abundance daily.  Imagine it ‘as if’ your life is abundant RIGHT NOW.  This may be far from the truth but keep seeing what you want no matter what your reality is.  Imagine this daily and your circumstances will start to change.

Having an abundant life is about having every area of your life work; your relationships, health etc.  See everything working, see yourself having a wonderful life and feeling great.  Enjoy your boundless imagination and keep taking actions consistent with your vision.

If you have never done this before, why not try it for a week and see what happens?  I’d love to hear your experiences.

Here’s to your abundance!  Speak soon …..

p.s.  Apologies for not updating my blog twice a week.  I know that my welcome video on the home page says that I’ll blog twice a week and for months now I’ve only been blogging once a month.  I apologise for not doing what I said I’d do: the reality is I can only blog once a month and I need to change the welcome video! I will do that as soon as I can.  Thanks for your patience.  Have a great day.
